Default Dropping connections with Wireless-N Dual Band USB adapter (WNDA3100)

My Wireless-N Dual Band USB adapter (WNDA3100) keeps dropping internet connection on me. What related problems are there and how can I fix them?

It's a linksys router (model WRT110) and it is approximately 20 feet away from the adapter.

For example, when I've playing my a game online it will occasionally just say "network connection lost" but then it will pick up the connection withing 5 seconds.

now days mixing N products with other manufactures should be okay but that one I would consider a issue

I would try different channel if makes any better.

wireless do have some lag and latency which I would not recommend for gaming.
