Is the firmware upgradable?

...I love the eva2000 but find that not being able to play 1080 resolution files annoying 30% of the time. So I'm kinda curious if an upgrade could get rid of this limitation?

BTW quite by accident I found my new Playstation 3 had this same capability and able to play 1080 files. Unfortunately, it has other problems like shorter timout before sending an error message (? I'm still trying to figure this out).

I recently found this which may be my perfect solution in that is also does Real Media format files.
