WNDR3300 V1.0.45... What's New?

I just ran the update program in my WNDR3300 and it updated the firmware version to V1.0.45 from my prior beta version V1.0.40.

Why haven't Netgear admins mention anything about this new firmware and what changes have been made in this version?

I cannot access this thread, reasons unknown. Usual useless netgear messages:

You have not activated your account after registration. Follow the instructions on the email sent to the address you provided during registration and activate your account. (nope, I am in aren;t I)
You have not validated yourself as a NETGEAR product owner/reseller. (Yes, about 5 of them are listed)
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? ( (I can't read something in here? Only want to read)
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. But I am in and replying.

Unless this is posted in an area that needs a secret handshake.

Is V1.0.45 non-beta version of the same V1.0.40?

I also didn't see anything there about 1.0.45. Is the info for that version somewhere else?

I too would like some info on this firmware.

I installed it last night and it's been running for 24 hrs solid with no droupouts (a virtual rarity for me when on the 1.0.29 firmware - note, i'm in the UK).

Very, very nearly gave in and bought a new router a couple of days ago, so i was surprised to see a new official firmware released. Fingers crossed it will prove stable! (i won't be holding my breath though).

I believe you have to subscribe to the Beta firmware program to get access to that thread.

It's true that you need to register to access the WNDR3300 beta forum, however there is no mention of version 45 firmware in that forum, and the link above is for version 40.

So where do I get .45, my router checks and tells me its available, BUT if i go to downloads uner WNDR3300 .30 beta is the latest....

The way i did it was just to login to your router and let it update itself. Thsi way i was able to upgrade to 1.0.45.

If you try going to Netgear's website to download it, it isn't there!
