Hi,
I have just bought the WNR1000 (N-150) router a week ago but unfortunately once or twice a day (using wireless on PC or MAC) the signal gets lost and I have to physically power the router on and off again to resume the wireless connectivity. When I check the lights on the Netgear N-150 router I don't see any problems; the wireless, internet and the security icons are all lit. I have the latest firmware upgrade done. Here are the other details; Hardware Version WNR1000 Firmware Version V1.0.1.15NA GUI Language Version V1.1.5.12 Please let me know what the problem might be. I would like to swap it with a new unit if you think my unit is problematic. It hasn't been 30 days yet. Thank you. |

June,
I can definitely do that, but it will defeat the purpose of me buying this router. I was using a NetGear 54 MBPs (g) router before this one and the reason I bought this one was to have an "n" router (up to 150 MBPs). Also, I am having the same problem while using my PC, which has a g wireless (as I wrote in detail in my previous post). So I don't think it is MAC's wireless. What else do you might be causing this issue? Thank you. |

start from low Mbps and find out.
N router is backward compatible but chipset on both end creates issues. plug n' play is still plug n' pray
