cant connect to xbox live

can someone please help me????
I have tried for hours to connect automatically and by manual to connect to xbox live.

My old Belkin connected with no problem, but my new netgear will NOT NOT NOT connect.

I have followed all the xbox web instructions BUT STILL NO GOOD!!!!!!!

I rung the netgear support team but uh uh still no joy.

Can anyone help me with plain english help???

-Go to http://routerlogin.com
-Login with "admin" and "password" for the password
-Go to WAN Set up
-Open "NAT Filtering"
-Apply the settings
