Default Netgear WGR 614 v9 - Network reseting

I recently aquired a WGR 614 v9 router. I installed it without any problem, and configured the wireless network. It worked fine for about three weeks, I could connect my laptop and PS3 without problems, but then, for some reason, the network went down. I decided to reset the device following this instructions, and managed to set up a new network. But the next day, after turning on the PC and pluging in the router again, I found that the network had gone off again.

What can I do to solve this? Does the product need replacement? Or can I download a fix? (Btw, the firmware was up to date.)
