Lightbulb Wgr614 as a repeater

Hi have a DG834 connected to the net on my first floor, i have a Wg111 adapter on my second pc, on the second floor, the signal no matter where i put the main router is very weak, so i was was wondering if i could use my wireless WGR614 as a a repeater/access point, on the second floor without using wires (wirelesly). if this can be achieved please could you give me the setup details to do so.

The wgr614 will not work as a repeater / access point wirelessly with the DG834.

Thankyou for that MUG, so how would i go about conecting them with wires, and would they both then become access points.

If you connect them by cable then you can operate two wireless networks on different channels, e.g. channels 1, 6, or 11 (these don't overlap in frequency). You can keep the SSID the same for both networks.

You could set up the WGR614 as an access point like this;
