If you already did a hard reset then the problem is still there. Please use the CD to perform a Firmware Recovery, after the recovery. Setup the router and get it online then download the latest firmware and do the manual upgrade. note: Router should be hardwired to the computer.

I was in the same boat, without a CD to recover from. Here's the solution, as given to me by Netgear (and it worked). It requires a Windows machine hooked up to your router, and some way to download the following files and get them to that machine.

Netgear use to provide the Recovery CD downloadable from their website, as it was easier to use than tftp.
