Default WNDA3100v2 problems?

I have a wndr3700 router and it works great.i also have the wnda3100v2 and every time i turn my computer on i have to repair my internet connection for the wnda3100v2 to connect to the router.i have windows xp sp3 and this is my second wireless adapter i have been through and i would like some help so i dont have to go 3 days without internet cause i work with the military and have to transfer large files and such.i do have the serial number and mac address in the access card list in the routers config page and still am upset about having to repair every hour or so to keep adapter connecting to internet any help would be great.thanks

could be a distance between the router and adapter or other interference issues
