Default Laptop cannot see 5 GHz signal

Hello,

I set up my WNDR3700 Router and connected 2 laptops and 2 iPhones but the laptops cannot see the 5Ghz signal. It picks up the 2.4GHz with 5 bars but the 5Ghz is not listed. I'm sitting less than 10 feet from the router.

Also set up guest network, if that matters.

Wireless card is:
Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC

What can I do? I'm not really good at networking stuff so please talk to me like an idiot.

Thanks for any help you can give

It looks like your card only supports 2.4 GHz. Not all 802.11n cards are dual band.

The Realtek RTL8191SE wireless card does not support 5GHz.
