Thumbs down No Media servers available in this network

I have installed and connected the EVA2000 in my network consisting of an Vista Laptop, a WXP desktop and a Synology 110j NAS-server. On the Vista laptop I have enabled in the Windows Media Player the sharing of the Media Library with the EVA2000. The TV is connected with a HDMI cable to EVA2000.
On TV I have access to the internet such as Youtube etc.
My problem is that when I select My Home-network, I get the following message: "No Media servers available in the network".
So I dont see anything óf my laptop, desktop or NAS-server.
Can anybody help me with suggestions what to do?
Thanks
Herman

Default Re: No Media servers available in this network

You can try configuring the PlayOn software on your PC.

1. Go to 'Content Sources'
2. Go to 'My Media (Beta)'
3. Browse for the files (one by one)

If it prompts a 'Unable to Recognize Media Format' message just restart PlayOn.

Try these steps first and inform us if it worked.

Angry Re: No Media servers available in this network

The installation process of the Playon software was not completed succesfully. Halfway the process it was killed with a vague error message.
For me a reason to return the EVA2000 back the shop where I bought it. I got my money back. A few days later the salesman contacted me with the information that he also tried it at home and he was very negative about EVA2000. He agreed with me on all points of my complaints.
So for me case closed now.
