Talking DGN3500 - Can you block a MAC address from the router

Hi
Although i have wpa security and the ssid of my network hidden is it possible to prevent a MAC address of a certain computer accessing my wireless network with the above router?

With my previous router you could block a given mac address

Thanks

The Wireless Access Lists of Netgear home grade routers are inclusive i.e. they are ‘allow’ lists and not exclusive ‘deny’ lists. Pity really because for many people a ‘deny’ list would be far more useful.

If you know the MAC addresses of all connecting PCs/devices you can add them all (within limits) and exclude the one you want to deny access.

check this link http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/de...00/r_id/100109 for your reference. It is almost the same on how to enable access list on DGN3500 but the option for that is under the wireless settings (Setup).
