What do you mean by recovery? is that same as hard resetting the Stora?

No, the recovery procedure re-flashes your Stora from the internet.

Well bummer. I was hoping to get some help, but alas...

Back to the store this thing goes. In general I like it and the idea of an "easy" NAS, but this thing doesn't seem quite ready for prime time, and neither does the tech support. So I will wait to see what version 2 holds.

This tool is not changing the Netbios name for me, I doe change the iTunes name.

Any advice?
