Default Cannot connect Ipad

Hve updated firmware on router. Ipad can see router but will not connect. Anyone had this problem? Is there a special setting on the router I need to change?

no special settings..
look in the router logs and see if it has any information.
Make sure the SSID is unique, not just "Netgear" cause others may have radios like that.
Don't use mixed-mode encryption (AES+TKIP) on the router while testing..
Try WPA2-AES, step down to WPA-TKIP, step down to WEP.. all 3 should work and AES is what you want if possible... one should work!!..
Make your passwords alphanumeric only.. abc123's no "-/{])" type of stuff.
If you were not the one who set the network up originally make sure that your not restricting by MAC Address.
Try changing the speed from 54 to 130 to 300 and vice versa..
Ideally you should have it set to 300 even if your devices only support 130.
Uhh... Good luck? :P.

WEP should not use as weakeast/hackable but 54Mbps should be used if you need to test with WEP

If I remember correctly the new firmware requires WPA2-AES.
