As the topic states, im sure this has been stated before but i cannot find a proper thread for me to look at. I keep getting the "A network cable is unplugged" bubble popping up onto my computer even though both the router & cable modem are all plugged in and set up accordingly. Ive done the recycling of the modem as well as the router. Ive also unplugged the power source to my computer itself and waiting 30mins before plugging it back in, yet it has not fixed the problem. Can i please get some help as to what i can do to fix this problem im having. Step by step instructions would be great if possible. Thanks in advance.
Router Model:WPN824v2 Modem Type: Motorola SURFboard Model:SB5120 Comp. Operating System: Windows XP Home Ed. w/ SP2 (If theres any more information needed pls feel free to ask & thanks again in advance for the help.) |

i placed in the router ip and now it said that theres an ip address conflict with another system on the network. Sorry forgot to mention i have another desktop that i am trieing to log onto the internet with it has a WPN311 Smart wizard it says on the other desktop that its connected to the router. But on my computer it popped up the caution balloon that "theres an ip address conflict with another system on the network".
