Default WN20000RPT Not able to connect

I just bought the WN2000RPT range extender. All of the installation seemed to go fine until I get to what seams to be the last step. "You are one step in completing the installation." I need to be able to connet to the network extender. have tried and tried and tried to no avail. I'm looking at it, green light is on but will not connect. The connection reads limited or no access and I now cannot connect my laptop or IPad to it. Apparently voice real live support is non-existent.

Default Re: WN20000RPT Not able to connect

I decided to go another route before going with a fixed dns. I reinstalled and use wpa-psk on the extender while my wireless router has wep. I can now connect to the extender but it will not connect to the d-link. Keeps asking for passphrase. The extender lights are good and green. I am setting this up within range of the wireless, at least for my laptop. It's the Ipad that isn't getting enough signal. I've now moved it 1/2 way between the hub and the room with the weak signal. thoughts? Though I was able to connect to the extender with different security, does it create issues between itself and the wep security?

OK back to wep all the way through. I can connect to extender but only have local access.

So literally 4.2.2.2, 4.2.2.1, not "208.67 etc"
