this explains the phonecall i got yesterday to rule out a bug i had before releasing this!
i can live with the lack of TKIP and AES on both 2.4ghz as i have an old router setup as a AP to get round it now. fingers crossed the issue with game servers is fixed. |

Been using it about 4 hours now. Page loads are definetly faster than .75 for me. Also my ping in the games I play is improved by about 10%.
Still haven't turned on ipv6 yet. Maybe thats a contiributor to the slower page loads some people have been posting about. So far, all's good for me. |

Just uploaded this firmware and so far so good. Fast loading sites and no disconnections. The only thing which is present again (was working in .75, .92 and .100) that the attached devices tab isn't working. Doesn't show a damn thing. Did the 30-30-30 reset and software reset within the router and setup my 3700 again.

I've been using this new firmware only for about 1 hour, but so far it seems much better than the disaster that was 1.0.6.98. I haven't yet encountered any slowdown or timeouts when accessing web sites. As for whether the Samba memory leak has gone away: time will tell...

Minor niggle, perhaps it was my PC, but when I upgraded my router page went blank (instead of the normal wait load screen)... I think I was coming from version 4.75 so if anyone else spots it, leave the page open until your router reboots ;P.
My IPv6 Tunnel is a LOT faster than the previous build, Still no PAT. The WifeTest will be ran tonight. |

All I can say is its TERRIBLE. Same bug I told them about from the 1/18 build.
I take my Mac and stream a movie from another computer that has a Seagate HD attached I use as a server for movies and files. I then stream a movie from the same server to my ASUS laptop. Both movies streaming, then on the ASUS I open up youtube and run a 1080P video. I let this run for about 10 minutes, low and behold everything comes to a screaching hault! The video's stutter and skip and the 1080P youtube stream buffers like crazy. I then stop everything and just use the browser. SLOW page loads appear! I bet before too long people will start complaining on the slow page loads. I run the same test on the E-4200 and there is NO slowdown at all. Even after an hour. Back to the E-4200 for me.
