Hello everyone,
I have bought a new macbook pro teusday, but my wireless internet is really slow. With cable my internet is at normal speed (20mbps, tested with speedtest.net) but with wireless connection I only get 2,02mbps max on my Macbook. I have a WGR614v6 Netgear router. The problem is not a hardware fault on the macbook because I already got a new one and this one has the problem too.. I think the problem is with the router configuration. Is resetting the router an option? how can I do that? I already upgraded the router but that doesn't work.. My mother's laptop (Windows Vista) gets full speed 20mbps.. Please explain it step by step, because I'm not home in networking and stuff.. But I really need good network to do my homework!! Thank you! P.s. I get the Request Timout message quite often in my browser.. |
