Default WPNT834 Router; want to use WPN802 as extender

Hello

I am using a WPNT384 Router. The bottom floor of my house has erratic wireless reception. A local salesman advised me to use a range extender and sold me the WPN802 Access Point.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make it work. I have read the documentation but can't seem to find what I am looking for.

Would appreciate some basic instructions, before I pack the Access Point back up and take it back ...

Thank you in advance
KDJ

you need to set your WPNT834 ip range ex 192.168.0.2~192.168.0.51
you will need to access your access point manually set static IP of unit as 192.168.0.52

maual should tell you how setup..
http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/WPN802v2.asp (page 20~)

unit is setup for DHCP so should get some IP but for long run I would specify static IP to access point unit.
