I bought the XAVB2501 AV+ 200 Powerline Ethernet Networking Adapter Kit and now would like to add one more adapter. The difference in price between another XAVB2501 and the higher speed XAV5501 is not that extreme. Does it make more sense for me to buy an XAV5501 to connect to my modem and use the others downstream? Or should I buy another 2501? I know I wouldn't get the extra speed, but it might be better for future expansion if I need to.
Any advice? |

it would be better to buy the 2501 to match the current network setup that you have using the XAVB2501. Because if you buy the 5501, it will not make any difference on your current setup. You will see the difference only if you replace all the 2501 to 5501. Devices works best if they have identical specs.
