Default DGND3700 Anyone knows how to remove the vertical stand?

I'm getting crazy! I need to wall mount the DGND3700. How can I safe remove the vertical stand?

I thought I heard someone quoted saying they are cheap and not sturdy. Shouldn't you just be able to pop them off? I figure they just wiggle off.

I managed to remove the stand with some force...what I found is that they have added glue so it is permanently stuck. But basically the stand is a three prone clip, which clips into router.

No need to remove screws.
Just apply some force to remove the stand. As Redalert says, it's using a little glue to keep it there.
My guess is that NetGear decided to glue the stand so users would use it vertically as it may be prone to overheating otherwise.

It states in the user guide that its recommended to use the 3700 in an upright possie. Probably why they glued it.

I believe it is recommended to be placed in a upright position in order to improve the reception of the wireless signal...I have the wireless turned off, so I'm happy with it in an horizontal position.

I'm not too worried about over-heating since heat should rise upwards. The heat that comes from it, feels similar to how hot my very old DG814 felt like.

On the back side where the stand connects you'll see two arrows in the plastic pointing towards each other. Insert something wide, flat, and thin between them (a port cover from a PC works great) and gently twist. The stand will separte from the base with no damage to either piece.

Hope this helps.
