cambo - no issue whatsoever using different drives, they can even be very different with one being 7200 RPM and the other 5900 RPM. Different manufactures/models no problem.

Hi,
I just bought MS2000 and I am selecting the drives. I would have 2 x 2Tb drives working in RAID1. I found ST2000DL003 inexpensive but it is not officially supported. Anyone have tested this disk in raid 1? I know WD20EARX is fully supported but I found it more expensive. cheers |

Thanks for your reply.
I have read the post before writing. Since you were asking to report for any driver not listed I was not sure if the drive was really tested in raid 1. Please are you able to confirm that it is fully supported so I will be more confident to buy it? cheers |
