Default Smartphone wifi will not stay connected

My wifes Samsung Galaxy Android 2.2 Smartphone wifi will not stay connected 'reliably' since upgradeing firmware on my WNDR3700v2 to V1.0.0.12.

She now has to regulary turn wifi on and off and/or even turn the phone off and one to re-connect a couple times a day since I upgraded the router firmware. All other devices, wireless laptop and wireless media extender continue to work fine.

Anyone else having similar problems??? If so, suggested fixes???

it actually wont help, my android device had disconnects on ALL firmwares. I tried EVERYTHING, making the 2.4ghz work in legacy mode (54mbps) and turning wmm on/off, setting beacon levels ect.

Switching to gargoyle firmware fixed this issue 100% no more disconnects on my android 2.2 phone.

Hope that helps.

I never had a problem with any of my android phones staying connected with any version of firmware with the wndr3700v2. Samsung Galaxy S2(mine), Motorola Droid X2(girlfriends), Mytouch 4G(Brothers), and HTC EVO Shift(Sisters).
