Default EVA8000 and USB HD connected to Airport Extreme?

Hi,

im seriously thinking of buying an EVA8000 instead of AppleTV but need to know if you can watch, listen and connect to an external USB HD connected to an Airport Extreme wireless basestation USB port?

I am not familiar with the Airport Extreme (If anyone else is, please chime in). If it uses Windows sharing or Samba (SMB/CIFS) to share folders, then the EVA8000 should be able to see the media that is in the connected USB drive.

My personal experience with this type of setup would be using something like the NETGEAR WGT634U router. It allowed me to attach a USB drive directly to the router and share it using SMB on my network.
