I have 2 drives which were originally mirrored i have been storing stuff on it for ages, last week i had to turn the SC101T off when i turned it on again i had a G: and an H: after a while the G: dissapeared but the H: was still there and accessable but the info on it was 2 years old, i have removed the drives and tried bring them up one at a time but only once has G: appeared it did have all the folders but when i tried to access the power light started to flash and G: had dissapeared from my machine.

Post a 'z-scan listall' and 'z-scan getpart' for each found partition. See my sticky How to post 'listall' and 'getpart' information - the complete guide for more information.

Hi Jack,
Thanks for this i tried this and got 0 microsan found ?. when i powered up the 101T i got both G: & H: displayed in My Computer, when i opened H: the old folders were there when i tried to open G: the 101T power light started to flash twice every few seconds. Thanks. |

If you have access to all files on drive H, then first save them to another medium
If z-scan can't see the drives then check your software firewall on your PC. Is the SC101T connected to a switch or router? Do you see the HDDs In the router menu under attached devices or clients? Can you ping these IP addresses? If all fail, connect SC101T directly to PC as described in my post and run z-scan listall & getpart again. We need that info to advise you about the options you have to get your data back. |
