Angry Modem setup for DSL Modem

new install centurylink internet service. we are using netgear dm111psp modem for dsl service. cannot get setup correct. using static ip assigned by centurylink, subnet and default gateway assigned by centurylink. we ping ip and do not get out of our sonicwall and ping gateway and stay in default. what is the best way to setup ther modem for the private ip and default gateway?

use RFC bridge in dm111p for PPPoE account
