I have a FritzBox used as a VDSL router and I want to attach the WNDR3700v2 as an access point. The WNDR3700 is attached to the FritzBox using a conventional ethernet cable.
What are the correct settings to do so? I have not managed to set it up correctly. Thanks for your help |

I also have a WNDR3700v2 connected as an access point, behind my WNDR3700v2 Router. I have set it up and get it to work for the 2.4 GHz radio connections. However. When I use the 5.0 GHz radio, I can connect to the AP, but I am not able to get an IPv4 connection. Therefor I am not able to get the IP settings from the routers DHCP. I have then set fixed IP settings that are right for my setup, but I cannot ping the AP.
Using the 5.0 GHz radio, I am able to connect to the AP and get IPv6 connection, but no IPv4. I read about using the WNDR3700v2 as an access point, but has anyone tried the 5.0 GHz radio? |
