Any idea if there is a area specific beta firmware out or is the worldwide firmware for testing with all? I just got this with the same name from the netgear techs and when I tried to update it warned it was the worldwide and not the U.S. Version?

I would have only been provided with one link for each Beta firmware. Since they would know that I am not in the USA I guess I would have been provided the WW version.

I have been provided with duff links in the past, so perhaps this is in error. Anyone from the USA or Canada have the another version?

Do you mean the link to the file on where they posted it since that can change when they want it to. my filename is just like in the title. They haven't gotten back to me since I was having troubles downloading from netgear.

I can't confidently test something if its not for my region.

Well Netgear have closed my ticket which has been open since July 2011 without even telling me. It appears that unable to resolve the issues they have just given up completely. So unprofessional and blooming frustrating. I have just completed my feedback survey. I hope somebody actually reads it.

They tickets are closed automatically sometimes if there is no activity for a couple of weeks. Raise another ticket and refer to the first.

If the link which Netgear's support provided is identical, then there isn't a great deal more I can do I', afraid. Hopefully someone else can at least confirm whether they were provided the same link if they live in the USA.

I got an update got an update from NetGear as that it is for all to test for issues shown to be possibly fixed in this beta. Later I'll try it and see what the end result is.

So far it looks like my primary goal of having the securities working as expected fixed as netgear hoped ( at least so far )

I did still note to them that my upstream changed by a small margin just so they have a record of it ( I lost 2 points on my noise margin and gained a half on attenuation)

Other than that it was wierd not seeing the U.S in a WW firmware and being listed as an other.

Haven't seen other things changed.
