Default Time out settings on WNDR3400v2?

Are there any settings on the WNDR3400v2 wireless router that would cause a "time out" effect? My videos on my hard drive won't stream but for a few minutes, then a message comes up: "Device Disconnected." While researching this, Samsung, who makes my Blu Ray player, the BD-D5500 model, suggested that it might have to do with the router's time-out settings. I didn't know that the router had such settings. Does it and how do I set them? Thanks

No there is no 'time out' setting. Need more data. Wired or wireless? Any other devices having issues?

No other devices having problems. Can stream from internet sources, YouTube, Netflix, etc. The WNDR3400v2 is a wireless router and the Samsung Blu Ray BD-D5500 has an adapter to receive wireless streams. For 10 weeks the devices worked perfectly together. . .those home videos and/or movies saved on my hard drive played without a hitch. Then, for no apparent reason, about a month ago, every time I tried to play one, within 5 minutes or so, I the video stopped and was replaced with a box that said "Device Disconnected" and the "name" of the computer. This happens only when I try to play videos from my hard drive, not ever any other time for any other reason. When asking at Samsung, they suggested it might be a firewall or time out issue with the WNDR3400v2 wireless router, since this was apparently the first time they had ever encountered the issue. Other boards have produced no helpful results, just a few suggestions, none of which worked (switching from Samsung's All Share software to another, checking IP addresses, etc.) Since it worked perfectly for the first 10 weeks, why not now when nothing has changed? So I have no idea what's going on.

if any other wifi device continues works then still suggest to hard reset the router and see.

also make sure in the same room where the player is located use wifi pc and test out any issues

use utility and see if there is any other surrounding wireless is causing the issues where player is located
