Default WNR1000v2 Channel Issues?

Hello,

I've been experiencing issues with my laptop randomly dropping connection when I'm surfing the Internet and using VOIP clients like Ventrilo. I was told that other frequencies might be the issue, and that I should move to a different channel. I could do that, but I cannot seem to find the channel bonding feature so I can turn it off. Is this even possible?
