Hi
can anyone comment on this. I want to lock down my inbound SMTP (port25). I have 3 separate IP addresses on the WAN that i need to give access to. The edit function offers the choice of entering an IP range (this isn't suitable as I need to allow 3 separate IP addresses that are not in a range), alternatively I can enter a single WAN IP address. Is it possible for me to setup 3 separate rules for SMTP? There would be one for each WAN IP, or would this cause a conflict? Wisdom would be welcome. Thanks |

Usually it will not allow multiple service for the rules but try make three rules for each WAN ip

Hi
Thanks for such a quick response. So - Set up the 3 New services Called SMTP_1,_2 &_3. All for port 25 - set each up in Inbound Services with a single IP for the WAN. Then removed the default SMPT Service from InBound Services. Tested and works OK. Once again Thnaks. John |
