Default bt home hub to dg834g

not sure if this will work,friend of mine owns a bar and lives upstairs,he has a bt home hub in his home,he want to set up a seperate router in the bar with a password he can give out to clients using his home broadband connection,he doesnt have a usable phone conection and cant run cables,can he connect the dg834g to his home hub wirelessly???

failing that,could he create a hot spot and use guest networking on either the hub or router?
