DGN1000-100NAS DSL Dropping Connections

Just bought the DGN1000 and configured it to modem only mode for bridging.

Worked great then it drops the DSL connection then reconnects, and it repeats about every 20 minutes or so. Each time it drops the DSL connection, I can see the DSL indicator LED is off, few seconds later starts to blink then goes solid, and all works fine again.

Since it's been installed, total usage was 80MB down and 5MB uploaded. So it's not heavily used. But I noticed the bottom of the modem is extremely hot while cool on all other sides. Could anyone comment on heat issue with these units?

Or do you think this may be the CenturyLink DSL service issue?
