Exclamation N300 Wireless adapter cradle trouble

Hi everyone!
I've bought a WNA3100 wireless USB adapter.
Installation was very quick and all the configuration tools provided with the attached CD are simple and usefull.

Unfortunately my WNA3100 works very well only if i connect it directly to my pc's USB. If i connect the WNA3100 to my pc using its original cradle (in any of my PC's USB port), windows 7 enterprise 64-bit cannot recognize it and in "device manager" appears a new unknown device with the warning symbol.
In the device status textbox the following error appears:

Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

Obviously,in this case, SmartWizard doesn't start and windows cannot display
my wifi networks. The blue light on the top of the adapter doesn't blink and it remains soft, while if i connect it directly to my USB port light becomes strong er and starts to blink....

Am i the only one with this kind of problem?
Thanks in advance!
