I'm using a 2TB USB HDD connected directly to my NTV550 but I have tried MediaMonkey4 and foobar2000's UPnP servers and both serve FLAC perfectly (including high resolution multi-channel). You can also try dBpowerAMP's Asset UPnP server. All three I mentioned are freeware.

Yes but the problem is i`m not using my computer as a server, but ReadyNas Duo. I`ve tried Twonky7 and oryginal ReadyNASDLNA but both doesn`t work. The problem is i can play flac from foobar (as play to) but i can`t play them via BubbleUPnP or directly from NeoTV550 from DLNA server.

...Also, the "/N" and "/i" in ssa/ass subtitle files is still wrong in some subtitle lines.

I'm attempting to use Asset. My files are stored on a networked server. So far, even after the update to the "final" firmware, not much luck. The Neo "sees" Asset and I can browse my full library. But, the only files that play are MP3. The vast majority of my files are FLAC and - while I can see them and even browse to them on the Neo - they don't play. After I browse to them, they display as 0 m 0s. As for the MP3 files that play, they pretty much crap out after a few minutes. In other words, the Neo still seems to be dropping DLNA, meaning the device doesn't do what it'd been advertised as being able to do.

Okay - an update. MP3 is now playing properly. And, if I transcode my FLAC files to stream as WAV, they also play properly. Why the Neo won't play FLAC via DLNA/UPP, I've no idea. I've no problem playing FLAC via NFS or SMB.

Another update. This doesn't impact my uses of the Neo, but, on other forums, users have noted that installing the latest (final) firmware impedes playback of BD iso's. And, from what they say, rolling back to the prior firmware doesn't rectify the situation. Perhaps NetGear has added Cinavia (though, the release notes make no mention of that).

I haven't had any problems playing back blu-ray ISO files (uncompressed) with this firmware. All of my uncompressed rips are on an attached HDD. I haven't tried over my LAN (wi-fi from the PC to the router), however.

Adding Cinavia wouldn't target BD ISOs exclusively, (and it would be unlikely anyway given the eol status of the product). So I don't think that theory is right.

Can you post a link to the "other forum" on the BD iso issue? I'm not seeing it in google.
