WPN824 Installation Software - Where is it?

Hi

I just received a Netgear wireless router (WPN824). It did not come with an installation CD but has a piece of paper inside saying:

The current installation guide and software may be downloaded from the NETGEAR website: http://www.netgear.com/.

However, I have been to the product page and there is firmware upgrades and the Manual but no software. THe manual pretty much says, insert the installation cd, which I don't have. I phoned up technical support and they were unhelpful saying that I would have to email someone to receive manual installation instructions.

THis is ridiculous! I want my router working now! Does anyone know if I can get the software or instructions online, and if I can't does anyone know why?!

Well, if you mean how to configure your router, the only way (?) is to open your web browser and type:
http://www.routerlogin.com/
That is the default address for the router admin page.
You also have to type "admin" and password for the router.

having same problem. tried this link, keeps tellling me im not allowed. i registered just to see it and now i cant use it.

It had been deleted, it's back now.
