Question can't connect to internet thru CG3000D cable modem

I got CG3000D used cable modem, called my cable provider-Time Warner, gave them MAC address. They said it is registered and activated so I rebooted the modem see the lights blinking to solid green indicating it is connected.
They say they are able to communicate with my modem however I can't get onto internet wired or wireless.

When I connect my PC to one of the ethernet port, it is orange light and I get no connection. I tried to open wireless network, connected to wireless net, but still no internet connection.

Is there a special trick to get this modem/router working?

Thanks in advance.

CGxx modem is usually for broadband provided units and not retail which means all support must come from your ISP

I would get replaced with your ISP
