Default IPAD IOS 6.0.1 and SRXN3205 VPN

I am having a time getting the VPN for the IPAD to connect to my 3205.. I am following some instructions which I have but cant attach but it will not connect. I am using a dyndns and have used both on the vpn client but nothing works.. my latest error is no response from the vpn server where before it was an authentication error.

I want to use this for a secure connection for my control 4 app.

thanks in advance

Chris

Som the tunnel will fail on 3G on cell data if was on standard data and not enterprise.

If authentication failed then you go basic setup wrong. Also on remote wifi you will need VPN passthrough support on remote router as well

http://vpncasestudy.com/download/use...ith_Iphone.pdf
newer doc is also still the same setup

Thanks, this doc is a similar version I used from Control4.. The only difference is Main vs Aggressive. if I use Main, i get an error saying no response from the vpn server and if I use aggressive I get an authentication failed msg. the user and psw have been verified.

Earlier firmware that supported iPhones used iPhone and latest firmware now uses aggressive

Do you have latest firmware?

Best test is to put spare wifi router on WAN of srxn and do direct test

On user , did you use IPsec VPN user?

Also make sure IP pool for Modeconfig is no same as your LAN subnet.

ex 192.168.1x is your primary SXRX LAN then IP Pool must be 192.168.9.x
