Default WNR2000 V3 port forwarding

f/w V1.1.2.6

has been working great, until I tried to connect 2 LG brand LW130W HD IP wireless/wired cameras.

Cannot get NAT/port forwarding to work.

The camera has two ports, the web port 80 and RTSP (real time streaming port) port 554.

on the camera 192.168.1.14 is for its wired IP.

WNR2000 has static public IP on the WAN side.

Block services: never

Port forwarding setup for web port:

Service Name: camera1-http
Protocol: tcp/udp
External Starting Port: 8014
External Ending Port: 8014

Internal Starting Port: 80
Internal Ending Port: 80
Internal IP address: 192.168.1.14

Port forwarding for RTSP port

Service Name: camera1-rtsp
Protocol: tcp/udp
External Starting Port: 8554
External Ending Port: 8554

Internal Starting Port: 554
Internal Ending Port: 554
Internal IP address: 192.168.1.14

reboot WNR2000

nmap from a remote public IP gives:

Host is up (0.045s latency).

Not shown: 999 filtered ports

PORT STATE SERVICE VERSION

8080/tcp open http uhttpd 1.0.0 (Netgear wnr2000v3 WAP http config)

|_html-title: 401 Authorization
| http-auth: HTTP Service requires authentication
|_ Auth type: Basic, realm = NETGEAR wnr2000v3

Thanks
Len

I also have Q-See network video recorder, NVR.

It's IP is 192.168.1.120
web port 3730
media port 9000

I set up port forwarding like above with :3730 LAN side and :3730.

nmap from external IP shows:

PORT STATE SERVICE VERSION

8080/tcp open http uhttpd 1.0.0 (Netgear wnr2000v3 WAP http config)

|_html-title: 401 Authorization
| http-auth: HTTP Service requires authentication
|_ Auth type: Basic, realm = NETGEAR wnr2000v3

9000/tcp open tcpwrapped

I don't have access right now to a browser machine outside my network, but as I said, nmap (network mapper) shows only remote router admin port 8080 open, so I don't how a browser outside my network would fine the IP camera web/rtsp ports open.

Testing behind the router will be loop back so you need to outside of you network to test or use smartphone and use cell data to test it

Exclamation Re: WNR2000 V3 port forwarding

I am hooking up a NetGEar wnr2000v3 to a security system and trying to set up to view on an iphone.

so far I have succeeded in accomplishing this:
TYPE STATIC
MEDIA PORT: 18004
WEB PORT: 00080
IP ADDRESS: 192.168.001.203
SUBNET MASK: 255.255.255.000
GATEWAY: 192.168.001.001
DNS: 066.169.062.073

Port checker says SUCCESS on both ports but I cant figure out how to view online. when I put my IP address( 66.169.62.73) in the IE window and put :00080 nothing happens

what am i doing wrong or need to do right?

DNS is NOT IP you will be using

See router status and look Internet ports
